Five fun activities to do in the Banana Shire
THE Banana Shire Historical Society Greycliffe Homestead Open Day is on April 6. This step back in time from the 1870s to 1970s will go from 9am to 4pm and is a gold coin entry. It is on the corner of Gladstone Road and Lawrence Street. Morning and afternoon tea will be provided.
THE popular country Thangool Races are on April 6 in what promises to be a great day for punters.
Gates open at 1pm and there will be an all afternoon race meet local derby.
Charity Golf Day
TEAM BoomBabyBoom have a charity day tee off on April 6 to help raise money for the upcoming Shitbox rally.
It will be at the Biloela Golf Club for a two-ball ambrose and will have a 9am sign-on for a 10am tee-off. Cost is $20 per person with heaps of prizes and a sausage sizzle for the players.
NORMALLY held on the second Sunday of each month, the Taroom Markets line the grounds of Leichhardt Road on Yaldwyn Street.
Vendors rotate and change, so there's always the new or different to see or try.

THE Moura Muddy Water Classic is on April 20.
The family fun day will have fishing, entertainment and camping available at Apex Park with powered and unpowered sites.
Special guest Dave Hodge, 'Hodgie' the Bare Foot Fisherman, will be on the spot to share his tips and tricks to help out budding fishos.
