Low-intensity heatwave for Biloela region

BILOELA residents can expect higher than average temperatures today and tomorrow with them easing off towards the end of the week.

This is predicted to bring a low-intensity heatwave to the region.

A Bureau of Meteorology spokesperson said a trough out west was directing winds from the interior towards the Eastern areas.

"No change of air mass and there is usually a southerly or easterly wind blowing but it is a bit stagnant at the moment,” BoM spokesperson said.
